PROFILE

The Troodos Network of Thematic Centers is a non-profit organisation based in Platres, in Troodos Geo-Park a member of Unesco Geo-Parks and its main aim, is the Rural Development of Cyprus with initiative area the Troodos region, through the development of the human and natural resources and the creation of Thematic centres which foster and nurture Youth & Female Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Skill Development.

Our core business is Rural Tourism and Rural Entrepreunership as the foundations of Rural develoment with great respect to nature and people, and focus on the special characteristics of each village( environmental, social, cultural, traditional arts and crafts & gastronomy) and the efficient management of all the resources.

To implement development in each area, we have a place of reference and these are our Thematic centers, which are the Pillars of development. Each one has its own theme depending on the location and the richness of the environment.

At the moment we are running three thematic centers ,

1. Wine & Gastronomy, Vouni village
2. Lavender & Herbs, Platres village
3. Sports & Fun, Platres Village
